I have been around the insurance business a very long time. My father was a successful insurance agent and major influence on my career choice. From a very young age, I would listen to him talk to customers on the phone helping them with their insurance needs. I would even take messages for him while he was away from his desk. So, it was no surprise that, after I graduated Gettysburg College in 1987 with a Business Management Degree, I decided to become an insurance agent. After gaining experience and learning all aspects of the insurance business, I opened my own insurance agency in Norwood, N.J. My team and I honorably served the needs of our community for over twenty years. After selling my agency in 2020, I decided to look for new opportunities. I chose to become a State Farm Agent because I know that State Farm always puts their customers first and offers an array of insurance products that will protect them from the unexpected. I am married to Mary Purcell for over twenty-eight years. We have a son, Justin, and a daughter, Melissa. I am also a lifelong martial artist with black belts in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jujitsu. I still teach and train regularly at Renzo Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Northvale, NJ. I enjoy all kinds of fishing, exercising at the gym, and spending time with my family.
